Yo,
Today is the start of a new running week. Make a commitment today to have your best week of running so far in '09! Eat healthy! Get your sleep! Ice your boo-boos and STRETCH while you watch tv! Challenge yourself to run faster or further than you ever have before.
I'm gunning for a personal best of 18 miles this Saturday and I plan on running it come snow, rain, tornado, drought, tsunami, or most unlikely sunshine! If you feel a lack of motivation to run, remember that there are 11 other people counting on you to pull your weight and get to that 9:00 mile average!

Steve-O is now officially a member of this team, whatever we are called. I am Kip's dad and Tyson, Brady, and Casey's favorite uncle. I am 51 years old. I ran the St.George Marathon in 1990. I have not ran much in the last 5 years. I worked hard in February and half of March and then I got the Flu and it knocked me for two weeks. I am back now. Every step hurts, there is NO bounce in my step. I am 25 pounds heavier than I will be On June 19, 2009. You young folks think of me and my tired knees and lungs every time you start to slow down. I have a bad knee and I have had ankle surgery. I had my gall bladder out almost three years ago. I am an old tired mess. Yet, I will be there and I will run every step. I will finish. The fire in belly is burning. Now get out there and run. Steve-O The O stands for Old.
ReplyDeleteThe Great White God Steve-O has spoken!!!! I'll run in your honor if you die of a heart attack or lung failure while training for this!! :)
