As of 9am today, volunteers can sign up. It's important to do it asap because the good normal hour slots are filling up. My brother Andy has volunteered to do a shift in Logan. We need two more volunteers which do about five hour shifts. They do get a T-shirt out of it. Yay. I added the volunteer link to the running links. IMPORTANT: make sure the volunteer signs up under team #535 Wagnoh Welay Wunnahs where it asks if they are volunteering for a team.
Tiff, in response to your question a couple of days ago, a driver doesn't count as a volunteer. The shifts are 4-5 hrs. long. Do we know what size or type of vehicle Van 1 is driving yet? Anybody want to offer their vehicle? My dad has a Durango and we have an Odyssey. We've never had a driver before because the van was already packed with the 6 runneres, food, water, and their gear. If we don't get a big enough vehicle we will be extra crammed in if we have an extra person driving. So we need to determine if we can fit a seventh person in depending on size of the vehicle.
TIME IS COUNTING DOWN! Five weeks of training left! We are still waiting to hear what our starting time is. Any discussion on changing legs?
