10 WEEK COUNTDOWN=9 WEEK COUNTDOWN???

Hey,
I hope everybody got out and had a good run Sat. I thought the weather was gonna be horrible but it turned out just perfect for how I like it (mid 30's, no wind, and just a little snow).

Only 10 weeks left until Ragnar. That really means ONLY 9 WEEKS of training because you don't run hard the week of the race.

Only you know if you're doing a good job training or not. If you have questions or need help, talk to Brady. He can answer any running/Ragnar question you will have.

DID ANYBODY BREAK A PERSONAL RECORD or ACHIEVE YOUR RUNNING GOALS this last week?   Please don't be humble :) and share your accomplishments with the team. You never know how motivating it may be to somebody else. I know Mary and Tiff did almost 7 miles Saturday!  Good Job!

Treadmill tips.

Hey guys,
Tyson, Mary and Tiff may not have this problem down south, but the rest of us further north are dealing with the bad weather.  If you're like me, ya can't stand the treadmill, but some days it's the only option.  I did 50 minutes on one yesterday and almost fell asleep.  Plus, I feel like I'm goin' 100 mph on the treadmill and it says I'm 1-2 minutes slower than what I run outside. Frustrating!

Here's an article about how to make your treadmill runs more realistic to the road.   Also, it is a good idea for those of you with some uphill runs to set your treadmill to the grade that is posted at the bottom of your assigned legs.

Yeah I forgot how to add a link to a post. :)  I added it to the running links posted on the right. Could somebody please remind me how to add a link to a post? It's been a while.

I also posted Jeff Galloway's page on the Running Links because I'm currently using his program for the SLC half  (April 18th), Bryce Canyon Half Marathon(July), Park City Marathon(August 22nd) and HOPEFULLY the St. George Marathon(October 3rd).
