Motivation

After chatting with Kip on the phone last night I got excited about the Ragnar Relay. I have decided to put the rubber to the road. I went out and ran 3 miles and realized how out of shape I am. I've got a goal of 6:30/mile so I've got a lot of work to do.

  1. AWESOME goal! I don't think I can even run a 6:30 mile downhill. :)

    I'll step my game up and shoot for 7:45 then.

  2. I ran a 13:00 2 mile at Lavell Edwards Stadium in the Fall of 1979. The Track used to be in the stadium. We had to be sub 13 minutes or we would have to run extra after every two a day practice. I made it in 12:58 two minutes to spare. Believe me it has been down hill ever since.
